We moved to the KOA in Holbrook which was a fairly nondescript campground except for sunrise and sunset.
From there we toured the Painted Desert and Petrified Forest on a very scenic 79 mile loop.
We stopped various times to view both petroglyphs and petrified logs.
Our last excursion was to the Navajo County Courthouse Museum which houses a very different portable jail—pretty grim, but with some impressive artwork.
Oops, just realized that this entire blog entry doesn't have a single picture of Ray or me. Now it does!
