After leaving Lake Mead our next stop was the Trailer Village near the South entrance of the Grand Canyon National Park.
The first day we took a 26 mile drive on Desert View Drive, stopping at various lookouts and touring the Watchtower.
The following days offered more views from the canyon rim and also a peak at the local bird population. (Can you find two birds?)
As for other wildlife, we enjoyed watching an elk bull by the side of the road and multiple mule deer bucks at our campground.
The one pictured below got his antlers entangled in our TV cable connection! (Our neighbors were eye witnesses.)
